Know what’s working, spot what’s changing, and find your competitors without digging through another dashboard.
October’s updates make it easier to understand your content, find competitors, and spot changes worth acting on.
Here’s what’s new. ✨
Content Pillars just got a rethink. 🙌
Previously, Industry Content Pillars relied on a fixed list of industries. That didn’t always reflect what you actually posted, and the pillars weren’t editable. So we replaced them with AI Themes based on each profile’s own content.
You’ll find a “Top themes on this profile” panel under the Key Insights Summary in the Executive Summary. It shows the top three suggested themes, along with the numbers behind each suggestion.

For example, you might see that Reels in one theme reach more people than the profile’s other Reels. So instead of just telling you what a profile posts about, the suggestion also gives you a reason to pay attention.
You’re in control of what happens next:
Your profile report also includes a Content Pillars section, with each pillar’s share of posts, performance against the profile average, change from the previous period, and top post.

💡 One thing to know: classification currently uses captions only, not images or video. If a profile has very little text, there may not be enough to suggest themes.
→ Why you’ll care:
💡 Quick idea to try: Open a profile’s Executive Summary, review the suggested themes, and track one that matches a recurring part of your strategy. Then compare its performance with the profile average.

Adding competitors to a project can be surprisingly difficult when the first question is, “Wait, who should we add?”
Now, after you add a profile, you’ll see a “Suggest competitors” button. Socialinsider looks for competitor brands with at least two valid profiles, prioritizing the platforms you already track.

Click on the button to see the competitors for the brand you just added.

You can see the competitors being suggested based on the social platform you have already used. Once you add a competitor, you can go directly to the Benchmarks view because the comparison is already set up.

✨ If your signup email domain confidently matches a known brand, you may also see your own brand card under the search box when starting a project.
Manual search is still there, and nothing gets added unless you choose it. The search takes around 30 seconds, so you’ll see a loading state while we look.
→ Why you’ll care:
💡 Quick idea to try: Add your brand profile, review the suggested competitors, and choose one you haven’t benchmarked before. Then open Benchmarks and see where your performance differs.
There’s a new place to find the changes that might need your attention: Insights Hub, under Tools in the navigation.
It brings relevant findings across your project into a timeline, from content opportunities and risks to standout posts and follower milestones.

You’ll see four types of insights:
Each card shows the evidence behind the finding, why it matters, and up to three metrics. The numbers are checked against Socialinsider data, and an insight is only published when there’s enough evidence.

Want to dig deeper? Select Ask Socialinsider AI on a card to start a conversation with the context already attached.

→ Why you’ll care:
💡 Quick idea to try: Open an Opportunity or Risk card, check the evidence, and ask Socialinsider AI what might have contributed to the change.
